You, a fresh academy graduate with humble beginnings, will grow to lead a grand army against a corrupt adversary. ![]() I'd recommend Warlord if you really want to engage with the game and its' nuances, and Standard Difficulty if you want a stimulating strategy game without having to get knee deep in it.Įdit: Warlord's enemies aren't really notably tankier to me, but they do hit harder so that you need to be considerate in your approach. Gold becomes much more important as a way to revive units fallen in battle at wherever the temple on the map is, and to replace units with more powerful and capable soldiers as you grow or replace your army. This guide contain recommendations for how to build your army optimally. ![]() Warlord is the opposite of that you should expect to lose people, sometimes even sacrificing them to cover a more important squads. It's not completely brain dead as you'll still have to make decisions and exploit weakness and all that good stuff, but if your leadership costs a squad or too it's not a big deal. I'm currently on chapter 30 getting ready for new game plus. Standard difficulty is basically much more forgiving if you make a bad call and your units die, oh well, they'll be perfect fine as soon as the mission is over. ![]()
